01 / Fontaines D.C. add four North American shows

Fontaines D.C. have added shows in Boston, Vancouver, Queens and Nashville to their 2027 North American tour. The additions bring the current itinerary to 23 dates and move its opening to April 22 at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway. Tickets for the new shows go on general sale October 9 at 10 a.m. local time.

The spring run ends in San Francisco on May 12; the autumn leg runs from Columbus on September 24 to Inglewood on October 15. Their new album, Dopamine Chamber, is due October 16, 2026, through XL Recordings.

02 / Die Tödin gathers four years of recordings

Die Tödin’s self-titled compilation collects nine recordings from 2022–2025 and is due October 30 through Heartworm Press. It expands the earlier Selected Singles release on Minimalkombinat, keeping the recordings unchanged.

In a new Post-Punk.com interview, the German darkwave artist says Heartworm’s Wesley Eisold approached her unexpectedly, initially asking about “Ich bin schon tot.” The collection has a personal purpose: “The last two years have been very difficult for me, so I want to draw a symbolic line under that period with this release.”

03 / Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! share “Blurred”

Italian trio Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! have released “Blurred,” a preview of their forthcoming album Dissolve Here. In the announcement reported by That Eric Alper, guitarist and singer Diego Masciotti says the song was written to capture “that precise moment where overstimulation turns into complete sensory anesthesia.”

The album was recorded with Filippo Passamonti at VDSS Studio in central Italy. Paolo Pinaglia and Denny Mosconi made the accompanying performance video.

04 / Sleepwalk’s “Jan 22” looks forward to winter

Chicago band Sleepwalk have shared “Jan 22,” ahead of View From The Outside, due November 13 through MNRK Heavy. Singer and guitarist Ryan Davis calls it “a love letter to winter time in the city, as well as a general celebration of life.”

The album was recorded at Hum guitarist and vocalist Matt Talbot’s studio in Tolono, Illinois. Sleepwalk’s announced shows include Chicago’s Sleeping Village on November 12, followed by Philadelphia and Brooklyn later that month.

05 / Hollow Bone release Onar

Milan band Hollow Bone release their second album, Onar, on October 9 through Octopus Rising. Its seven tracks are available in a full-album stream premiered by Progressive Rock Journal.

The label describes the record as seven interconnected compositions inspired by dreams, conceived as one continuous work. The project also includes a visual collaboration with artists Kurokawa Toru and Andrea Baldelli and graphic designer Francesca Papasodaro.
