01 / Bruno Kramm of Das Ich dies at 58
Bruno Kramm, keyboardist and producer with German electronic group Das Ich, has died aged 58 after a concert in Granada, Spain. Local newspaper Granada Hoy reported his death and a statement from fellow performer Sven Hegewald following the show.
Kramm also founded Danse Macabre Records and campaigned on copyright. Germany’s Pirate Party remembered his involvement in disputes over payments to creators, alongside his work as a musician and label founder. The cause of his death remains unconfirmed.
02 / Novelí releases her debut single, “Mind or Body”
Novelí, a longtime DJ beginning her recording career, has released “Mind or Body,” accompanied by a video directed by Daniel Foerste. In a Post-Punk.com feature, she connects the song to her experience as a trans woman and to learning to accept parts of herself she once felt pressured to hide.
She describes her musical approach as “Maximal Wave,” drawing together several forms of electronic dance music and synthesizer-led pop. “Mind or Body” is intended for a forthcoming album, Transfigure, for which the announcement gives no release date.
03 / Delivery announce Zone 3 for February
Melbourne guitar band Delivery have announced their third album, Zone 3, for February 26, 2027 through Heavenly Recordings, sharing “Measuring Cup” with the news. Recorded over twelve days at York Street Studios, it follows 2025’s Force Majeure.
Their October shows include Dublin on October 27, Galway on October 28 and Belfast on October 29, followed by British dates into November.
04 / Mei Semones announces her second album, Howl
Singer and guitarist Mei Semones has announced Howl, the follow-up to her 2025 debut, Animaru. Due January 15, 2027, the eleven-song album is her first for Verve/Interscope.
The title song is already available. Semones told Stereogum that its video follows her idea of a convenience-store worker who becomes a guitar-obsessed werewolf at night. It was made in Tokyo with Takuto Shimpo and his team. Her announced 2027 tour includes Chicago’s Thalia Hall on March 2 and New York’s Webster Hall on March 6.
05 / Emma Ogier announces her debut album for November
Houston-born songwriter Emma Ogier will release her debut album, Fly 1111, on November 11, 2026 through Lost Highway. Produced by David Baron, the twelve-track record is previewed by “Hands Tied.”
Ogier began releasing independent singles in 2023 before joining the label. She has also performed “Hands Tied” solo and acoustic for On The Radar. Her October shows include Austin City Limits on October 3 and dates with Hovvdy.
06 / Waterpistol release their first EP, Hey Harry
Cardiff six-piece Waterpistol released Hey Harry, their debut EP, independently on September 18, 2026. Available digitally and on CD and vinyl, the collection follows the earlier songs “Felin” and “She Flies.”
